World unsafe without US owning Greenland

US President Donald Trump told Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre that he no longer felt obliged to think “purely of peace” after failing to win the Nobel Peace Prize, according to a message published on Monday. In the document, whose authenticity was confirmed by Støre’s office to AFP, Trump said that although peace would remain “predominant,” he could now focus on what he believed was “good and proper for the United States of America,” citing his claim of having stopped multiple wars.

In a written response, Støre emphasized that the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded by an independent committee and not by the Norwegian government, a point he said he had clearly explained to Trump. In the same message to the Norwegian leader, Trump also reiterated his desire for the United States to take control of Greenland, an autonomous Danish territory, a position that has caused unease internationally.
