Pastor Chris Okafor, General Overseer of Grace Nation International, has broken his silence regarding the scandal involving Nollywood actress Doris Ogala. Speaking at his wedding thanksgiving on December 21, the cleric offered a general apology. “I want to thank everyone… In anyway you believe we have offended you, we are sorry,” he stated, adding, “The devil became angry with just this little one we showed.”
His remarks follow a N1 billion lawsuit from Ogala, who alleges a breach of promise to marry after a years-long relationship. The actress claims she ended her previous marriage on Okafor’s urging and accuses him of betrayal, emotional distress, and sharing explicit videos without consent. She also alleges financial exploitation related to a contract.
Despite the controversy, Okafor’s wedding proceeded last week. In response, Ogala shared private photos of the pastor online, leading to her reported arrest. The scandal continues to unfold with serious legal and personal ramifications for both parties.
