Tinubu Meets Six APC Governors in Abuja

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday held a closed-door meeting with six All Progressives Congress governors at the State House, Abuja. Those present were governors Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Usman Ododo (Kogi), Aliyu Sokoto (Sokoto) and Nasir Idris (Kebbi). Court Rejects Kanu’s Sokoto Transfer Request

The Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday declined Nnamdi Kanu’s request to be transferred from the Sokoto Correctional Centre to a facility in the FCT or Nasarawa State. Justice James Omotosho ruled that the application could not be granted ex parte and ordered Kanu to refile it as a motion on notice for all parties to be heard.
