IPOB has reassured Igbo people of their safety during the Christmas season in the Southeast, encouraging them to return home without fear. The group attributes improved security to the efforts of its Eastern Security Network (ESN) and community volunteers, dismissing claims of widespread insecurity as politically motivated.
