His Royal Highness Haniel Banti, paramount ruler of the Yandang Nation, has called on Nigerians to embrace and preserve their rich cultural heritage, asserting that a strong cultural identity is fundamental to the existence of any nation or tribe. Speaking at the Yandang Community Development Association (YCDA) cultural festival in Abuja, the monarch highlighted the event’s dual goals of preserving the Yandang people’s legacy and building sustainable institutions for future generations. The festival also served as a platform to address pressing socio-economic issues such as poverty, lack of infrastructure, and the impact of climate change on agrarian Yandang communities, advocating for entrepreneurship and skill acquisition.
