The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State has welcomed the Supreme Court’s split ruling on the state’s withheld local government allocations. Chairman Sunday Bisi stated that the judgment reaffirmed the rule of law, exposing “unconstitutional directives” to pay council funds to “illegal entities.”
Bisi recalled that the crisis was fueled by sacked chairmen who defied court judgments. He urged all parties to respect the Supreme Court’s decision and warned against manipulation, reaffirming support for Governor Ademola Adeleke.
