Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a leading COCIN clergyman in Plateau State, has raised alarm that Boko Haram has placed a bounty on his head due to his persistent campaign highlighting Christian killings, mass burials, and insecurity in the Middle Belt. In a video shared on social media, he claimed the terrorist group is serious about eliminating him, stating, “Boko Haram, the Islamic terrorists, have placed a bounty on my head, and anyone who kills me first will be rewarded.”
He also said individuals loyal to President Bola Tinubu have warned him to stop posting such videos, and that Meta has deleted his accounts for alleged security concerns. Despite the threats, he insists he will not stop advocating against terrorism, adding, “Before I embarked on this journey… I knew my life would be in danger, but I do not fear death.”
