Ray J has filed new legal claims accusing Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner of decades of deception over their sex tape following their defamation lawsuit against him.
Ray J has intensified his legal fight with Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner, alleging they spent “two decades peddling the false story” about the leak of their sex tape, according to a report from PAGE SIX.
The singer filed new court documents Thursday after Kardashian and Jenner sued him for defamation last month. He claimed the lawsuit “is not about defamation — it’s about publicity, power, and punishment.” TMZ first reported the development.
In the filing, Ray J, 44, alleged that Kardashian, 45, consensually filmed the tape with him in 2003 and that they discussed releasing it in 2006, during which Kardashian allegedly suggested Kris Jenner should oversee the process. He also said the pair — along with Kanye West — falsely accused him on Hulu’s “The Kardashians” of sexual assault, revenge porn and extortion.
Ray J further claimed the parties previously reached a settlement in which Kardashian agreed to pay him $6 million and stop referencing the tape on their reality show but allegedly violated the agreement when the topic resurfaced.
His lawyer argued he would “not allow Kardashian and Jenner to weaponize the judicial system.”
Kardashian and Jenner’s attorney, Alex Spiro, dismissed the claims, saying, “Ray J will lose this frivolous case too.” Their lawsuit insists “no such federal investigation exists” regarding the RICO allegations he made.
