”I anxiously await when not only our handsome troops will march across Red Square but also those of our North Korean and Chinese brothers.”
A close ally of Vladimir Putin has issued a chilling World War Three threat, expressing eagerness for Russian, Chinese, and North Korean troops to march across Europe. Russian state TV host Vladimir Solovyov declared, “I anxiously await when not only our handsome troops will march across Red Square but also those of our North Korean and Chinese brothers.” His remarks come as Putin’s war in Ukraine, which has cost Russia over 95,000 troops, deepens tensions with NATO.
Solovyov, a staunch Kremlin propagandist, dismissed Western concerns over Russia’s military capabilities, stating, “They think we have a problem with our mobilisation resources. There are 150 million of us, but 1 billion of them.” His comments reflect growing anti-Western rhetoric in Russia, which has increasingly aligned with China and North Korea amid international isolation.
The threat underscores escalating global tensions, with Putin’s invasion of Ukraine already straining relations between Moscow and NATO. Analysts warn that such provocations risk further destabilizing an already volatile geopolitical climate.
