The incident occurred at about 2pm when the attackers who were on a revenge mission invaded and attacked Arigu David and one Mike in their houses and slaughtered them
Suspected herdsmen killed two residents of Ngwan Doka 2 Community in Nasarawa State on Sunday in a revenge attack. The victims, Arigu David and Mike, were slaughtered in their homes after allegedly preventing cattle from grazing on their crops. Witnesses said the assailants struck at 2pm and fled before police arrived.
The bodies were taken to Federal Medical Centre Keffi but rejected due to lack of space, forcing police to return them to the station. The attack near Abuja highlights escalating farmer-herder tensions, with locals reporting the herdsmen operated “in a Gestapo manner” during the brief assault.
