Ebola Confirmed in Uganda; DRC Reports Deaths
Uganda has confirmed an Ebola outbreak after a patient died on May 14 from an imported infection linked to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The DRC reports nearly 250 suspected cases and 65 deaths. Africa CDC is concerned about potential spread near the Ugandan border, coordinating efforts to contain the virus quickly.
