President Bola Tinubu has declared that Nigerian youths are dynamic, restless and capable of voting him out if his government fails to harness their potential and create adequate opportunities.
According to Naija News, President Bola Tinubu has stressed the urgent need to harness the potential of Nigerian youths, warning that failure to do so could cost him politically.
Speaking during a panel session at the 13th Africa CEO Forum in Rwanda, Tinubu said: “We have a very dynamic youthful population, restless and not ready to accept any excuses. I am a politician, if I don’t prepare them for that (opportunities), they will vote me out.”
Naija News reported that Tinubu also addressed the APC primaries ahead of the 2027 general elections, personally signing a statement urging party members to remain peaceful, saying: “We founded the All Progressives Congress on the firm principles of progressive politics, consensus democracy, and personal devotion and sacrifice. This principle of selflessness and devotion has seen us go through each election cycle and come out firmer together.”
