The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) is set to conduct its annual preventive maintenance at the Ajaokuta 330/132kV Transmission Substation. The exercise, scheduled for Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., is crucial for servicing the bay switchgear and associated equipment on the 132kV Ajaokuta Transmission Line 1. Consequently, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to supply power to Adogo, Anyimgba, Ganaja, and nearby areas during this period. TCN has assured that power will be restored promptly after the maintenance is concluded and has apologized for any inconvenience caused.
