Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni has criticised Peter Obi’s Channels Television interview, saying the NDC candidate failed to explain concrete policy details.
Oseni Knocks Obi Over Lack Of Policy Details
Arise Television anchor Rufai Oseni faulted Peter Obi’s Sunday interview on Channels Television, arguing the NDC presidential candidate offered broad promises without explaining how he intends to tackle Nigeria’s problems, Daily Post reports.
“I didn’t see the how. We can’t run a country on vibes,” Oseni said on Monday, noting candidates should have manifestos ready with just six months until elections.
He said candidates must stop hiding behind “operational details” when asked about insecurity plans, insisting the public only wants “overarching” methodology, not secrets. Oseni also demanded specifics on power sector reform, questioning why Nigeria’s 13,000MW installed capacity yields under 5,000MW due to transmission gaps, and whether candidates would invest in fixing it.
