Child Protection: Expert’s Urgent Call
Jide Johnson, a lecturer at the Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ), urged stakeholders to actively protect children from abuse and exploitation. Speaking at a workshop organized by the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) in Lagos, Johnson’s call marked the World Day Against Child Labour. He stressed that children’s rights under the Child Rights Act (CRA) 2003 are legal obligations for all.
