Police foil plot to kidnap cleric, retired principal in Delta

Delta State police have foiled a kidnapping plot targeting a pastor and a retired principal in Ughelli. Operatives acted on intelligence, arresting a suspect, Jeremiah Kwane, 26, who allegedly recruited others. A gun and cartridges were recovered. In a separate incident, three armed robbery suspects were intercepted in Effurun, with one arrested and others fleeing.
