PFIPC Probe: Reps Declare Adeyemi’s Appointment Letter Fake
The House of Representatives ad hoc committee probing the disputed Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council has declared the appointment letter received by self-styled Director-General Adeniyi Adeyemi as fake. Daily Post reports that committee chairman Yusuf Gagdi disclosed this on Wednesday during the continuation of the probe in Abuja, adding that the Act presented to the Head of Service was equally forged by Adeyemi.
Head of Civil Service Didi Esther Walson-Jack, appearing for the second time, admitted the documents were not authentic. Adeyemi had yet to appear before the committee at the time of filing, despite an earlier 48-hour production order to the Inspector-General of Police.
