Prominent Nigerians, including presidential hopefuls Peter Obi and Donald Duke, attended a vigil Mass in Port Harcourt for the late mother of former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi. Mary Orduah-Amaechi passed away at 89. The event, held at Corpus Christi Cathedral, preceded her burial.
Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation, is the ADC’s vice-presidential candidate for 2027. Other notable attendees included Chris Ngige and Dumo Lulu-Briggs.
