Ogun police investigate killing of retired OGTV broadcaster, security guard

Ogun State Police have launched a murder investigation after retired OGTV broadcaster Kitan Oyesiku and her security guard were found dead at her home in suspicious circumstances.

Ogun State Police are hunting suspects in connection with the suspected murder of retired broadcaster Kitan Oyesiku and her security guard, after both were found dead at her residence.

The Nation reported that a resident of Iyana Agodo Village raised the alarm after noticing suspicious activity at Oyesiku’s home. Detectives arrived to find signs of forced entry and a disturbance inside the premises.

The security guard’s body was found in his post, while Oyesiku was discovered dead in her apartment. Her vehicle was also missing from the property, Western Post reported.

Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni has ordered a full investigation, with intelligence and surveillance operations expanded to track down those responsible. The command extended condolences to the victims’ families and the media community, pledging that justice would be served.
