Nigeria Police Force has extradited Cai Jinlian, a wanted fugitive, to China to face charges concerning endangered wildlife trafficking. The operation was facilitated by INTERPOL NCB Abuja. Jinlian is accused of smuggling 12 tonnes of pangolin scales between November 2018 and April 2019. His accomplices were previously sentenced to over 14 years imprisonment.
