Nigeria Boosts Defense Production
Nigeria aims to localize military hardware production, including armoured vehicles and anti-drone systems. Led by DICON-D7G in partnership with Eagles International for Defence Systems, the initiative seeks to enhance technology transfer, expand domestic manufacturing, and reduce reliance on imports. DICON-D7G CEO Osman Chennar announced the plan after Minister Bello Matawalle’s inspection in Cairo. The partnership is expected to create over 200 jobs.
