Nigeria has exceeded its OPEC crude oil production quota for the third consecutive month, producing 1.505 million barrels daily in July 2026. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) reported that combined crude and condensate output reached 1.67 million barrels per day, surpassing the 1.5 million barrel target.
Despite meeting the quota, overall production saw a four percent decline due to operational challenges at the Erha and Akpo oil fields.
