Nigeria Boosts Local Content with $100M Equity Fund
Nigeria’s NCDMB and BOI have launched a $100 million Nigerian Content Equity Fund (NCEF), inaugurating its Investment Committee in Lagos. This innovative fund offers long-term equity financing, a departure from traditional debt, to the oil and gas service sector. The move aims to accelerate local content growth, reduce costs, and create an estimated 12,500 direct jobs, filling a crucial financing gap for indigenous firms.
