The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) is gearing up for the U-18 Boys National Team’s continental qualifiers by launching a pre-selection screening camp in Benin. The camp, held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium’s Indoor Hall, is a crucial step for Nigeria’s participation in the FIBA Africa U18 Zone 3 Qualifiers.
NBBF spokesman Babs Ogunade highlighted the camp’s importance in identifying and nurturing future basketball stars. Invited players were selected through extensive scouting across the country, with the final squad for the qualifiers in Burkina Faso set to be chosen after rigorous assessment by Coach Ikima Michael and his technical crew.
