Badejo-Okusanya Leads NBA Poll Amid Voting Glitches
Provisional figures from the ECNBA dashboard showed Badejo-Okusanya with 5,044 votes, ahead of Lateef Akangbe’s 3,972 and Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro’s 3,015, according to The Nation Newspaper. Turnout stood at 14.69%, with 12,070 of 82,164 registered lawyers voting by 11:54 a.m.
Despite migrating the platform after an earlier cyberattack, many lawyers reported OTP failures, rejected authentication codes and browser compatibility issues, particularly on iPhones. Some also raised concerns after being able to access the portal even after voting. The ECNBA has yet to address the reported glitches but confirmed voting will run 24 hours from commencement.
