Bayern Munich captain Harry Kane has topped Planet Football’s ranking of the world’s best centre-forwards for mid-2026, with Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen placing fourth.
Kane claimed the No. 1 spot after a standout season, with his goalscoring, creativity and all-round attacking play setting him apart, Planet Football said, in a ranking reported by PUNCH on Thursday.
Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland rounded out the top three. Osimhen’s pace, physicality, work rate and big-game delivery secured his spot among the elite.
Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez, Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal, Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez, Arsenal’s Viktor Gyökeres, Stuttgart’s Deniz Undav and Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski completed the top 10. The list considered only traditional centre-forwards, excluding wingers and wide attackers.
