According to a statement by Ado Bako, assistant director of information at the health ministry, cited by the People Gazette, the government also approved a national policy on health workforce migration to curb brain drain and promote ethical recruitment.

He added that reforms have enabled 80 million patient visits, while over 21 million vulnerable Nigerians have accessed care through the vulnerable groups health insurance fund.
As of the 2025 joint review, 84 per cent of key performance indicators under the Presidential Health Sector Renewal Compact had been achieved.
