APC Dominates Enugu North: Asogwa Secures Senatorial Seat
Enugu Governor Peter Mbah hailed Ikeje Asogwa’s APC victory in the Enugu North Senatorial by-election as proof of the party’s dominance. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Asogwa the winner, succeeding the late Senator Okey Ezea. Asogwa garnered 162,360 votes, significantly outpacing PDP’s Nestor Ezeme, who received 9,299 votes.
