Osun State’s APC has praised police for thwarting an alleged assassination plot against its Governorship Campaign DG, Wole Oke. Police paraded disc jockey Olalekan Oriyomi and two others on Thursday in Ipetu Ijesa, accusing them of the attempt. A Beretta pistol with live ammunition was recovered. The party lauded police for proactive crime-fighting, urging further investigation.
