NAFDAC is urging for the careful use of medicines and enhanced pharmacovigilance to ensure patient safety. The agency’s Director-General, Mojisola Adeyeye, stressed this at a sensitisation program in Lagos. The initiative highlighted the dangers of medication misuse, including self-medication and antibiotic abuse, which contribute to treatment failures and preventable deaths.
