The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is stepping up its campaign against drug abuse and cultism in the region. Managing Director Samuel Ogbuku stressed the dangers these issues pose to youth ambitions and the future of the Niger Delta. He urged students to resist peer pressure and shun harmful practices.
At a school sensitisation program, officials from NDDC, NDLEA, and the police highlighted the links between drug abuse and cultism, and the severe legal consequences of involvement in cult activities.
