Tributes have continued to pour in for British-Nigerian singer and songwriter Mark Orabiyi, popularly known as Talay Riley, following his fatal stabbing in Silvertown, East London. According to Peoples Gazette, the 35-year-old musician was found with stab wounds in the garden of a property on Rayleigh Road on Friday and was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts by paramedics.
The Metropolitan Police said three suspects were arrested, although only one remains on bail as investigations continue. Family members described Orabiyi as a beloved son, brother and friend whose kindness and talent touched many lives.
Rapper Chip, who worked with Talay on the hit song Oopsy Daisy, led tributes, while fans remembered the singer’s lasting impact on British music.
