Defence Minister Christopher Musa has called on Nigerians to back President Bola Tinubu for a second term, saying ongoing reforms need time to deliver full benefits.
Speaking in a viral video seen by Tribune Online, Musa said the administration is taking tough but necessary decisions to fix long-standing national challenges inherited over the years. He argued that the early difficulties being experienced are part of a broader adjustment process that will eventually yield progress.
Musa compared the reform period to childbirth, noting that pain often precedes relief and joy. He urged citizens to remain patient, support the government, and sustain cooperation with the president. According to him, years in office would allow Tinubu to complete key reforms and strengthen development.
