Atiku Abubakar has won the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary, securing a significant 1,846,370 votes. He defeated former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi, who garnered 504,117 votes. Another contender, Mohammed Hayatudeen, received 177,120 votes. Both Amaechi and Hayatudeen have raised concerns about electoral malpractice during the primary.
