Nigerian national Abdul-Rasheed Adedoja, three others convicted over acid attack on UK drug lord

A Nigerian national and three others have been convicted in the UK over a fatal acid attack linked to a drug-related dispute.

A United Kingdom-based Nigerian, Abdul-Rasheed Adedoja, and three others have been convicted over the acid attack that led to the death of Danny Cahalane, according to Peoples Gazette.
The co-defendants Israel Augustus, Ramarnee Bakas-Sithole and Paris Wilson were found guilty for their roles in the killing.

Police said the victim was attacked with acid at his Plymouth home in February 2025 and died in May after weeks in hospital.
“Three men and a woman have been found guilty of the brutal acid killing of a Plymouth dad-of-two…,” Devon and Cornwall Police stated.
Authorities linked the attack to an organised crime plot over a six-figure drug debt.

Following an 18-week trial, jurors found Adedoja guilty after 40 hours of deliberations.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 8.
