The federal government has commenced plans for the voluntary repatriation of Nigerians from South Africa following xenophobic attacks. Foreign Affairs Minister Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu said President Bola Tinubu has directed that evacuation flights be provided for citizens willing to return home.
The move aims to ensure the safety of Nigerians targeted in the recent wave of violence against foreign nationals.
