Two Jewish men were stabbed in London’s Golders Green by a knife-wielding attacker in the latest of a series of antisemitic incidents now being investigated for possible Iranian links.
Two Jewish men were stabbed in the north London neighbourhood of Golders Green on Wednesday after a man ran through the street attempting to stab Jewish members of the public, according to Jewish security group Shomrim.
Shomrim officers detained the attacker before police arrived and used a taser to subdue him. The BBC reported both victims are being treated for serious injuries.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemned the attack as “utterly appalling.” Local MP Sarah Sackman echoed that sentiment, declaring: “The attacks on British Jews are an attack on Britain itself. It is unconscionable that Jews are being targeted in this way.”
The incident follows a wave of arson attacks on Jewish targets across London, with investigations now exploring possible Iranian links to the violence.
