The United States Mission in Nigeria has announced a temporary suspension of regular updates on its official X account due to a lapse in government appropriations, while assuring the public that passport and visa services will continue as circumstances permit.
In a statement on its verified handle, @USinNigeria, the Mission said, “Due to the lapse in appropriations, this account will not be updated regularly until full operations resume,” adding that scheduled passport and visa services would continue, with further updates limited to urgent safety or security information.
