Kurmin Wali Abduction: Kaduna gov breaks silence

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has pledged that his administration, working in collaboration with security agencies, will ensure the safe return of residents abducted from Kurmin Wali village on Sunday. The governor made the promise on Wednesday during a visit to the community, where he led a delegation of senior government officials and heads of security agencies to commiserate with the affected residents, assuring them that efforts were underway to secure the release of those taken.

Governor Sani said the state government had been coordinating closely with the military, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force, and the Office of the National Security Adviser to facilitate the quick recovery of the abducted persons. He stressed that the number of victims was irrelevant, noting that whether one person or many were kidnapped, it remained the responsibility of the Kaduna State Government to protect lives and property and ensure the safe return of all victims.
