The family of Chief Victor Olabisi Onabanjo, former governor of Ogun State, announced the death of his wife, Chief (Mrs) Lucia Onabowale Onabanjo, who died on Monday, January 11, at the age of 100, describing her passing “with deep sorrow, yet with gratitude to Almighty God” and noting she was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who lived a long, fulfilled life and leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and faith, saying, “We thank God for her long and fulfilled life, and for the enduring legacy of love, strength and faith she leaves behind. May her soul rest in perfect peace.”
