Soldiers beat up doctor ‘like a thief,’ then label it ‘minor issue’

Jude Pati, a medical doctor in Plateau State, has shared how soldiers assaulted him on Wednesday because he drove ahead of their convoy.

The doctor said the soldiers also took him to the barracks, where they further punished and humiliated him on that day. Pati, who shared his encounter on X via a series of posts, said he had chest pain because of the beating.
