FG Designates All Armed Groups as Terrorist Organisations

The Federal Government on Monday declared all armed groups operating across the country as terrorist organisations, warning that any group involved in kidnapping, attacks or intimidation of communities would be treated accordingly. The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the declaration at a press conference in Abuja, stressing that such groups would no longer be regarded as ordinary criminals.


Niger Government Receives Remaining Abducted Pupils, Teachers

The remaining 130 abducted pupils and teachers of St Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary Schools, Papiri, have been handed over to the Niger State Government.
