Senior Special Assistant to the President on Print Media, Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, says the growing wave of defections to the APC reflects confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership. He spoke at an APC rally in Fagge, Kano, on Sunday.
Abdulaziz said Tinubu’s inclusive leadership style had drawn politicians across party lines and regions. “There is no party in Nigeria today that symbolizes unity like the APC,” he declared, predicting more defections, especially from the South-South and South-East.
He dismissed the relevance of a new opposition coalition, noting that no sitting governor had joined it. Abdulaziz cited infrastructure projects, economic reforms, and the CNG initiative, adding that “the president’s reforms are designed for long-term stability and shared prosperity.”
