Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged Nigerians to believe in the country, declaring that Nigeria must not fail because of its significance to the black race globally. He spoke at the graduation of participants of Senior Executive Course (SEC) 47, 2025, at NIPSS, Kuru, Plateau State.
“This country has to work. This is the greatest black nation on Earth. If Nigeria fails the black race has failed,” Shettima said, adding that Nigerians exude confidence globally. “The hope of the black man rests with Nigeria,” he stated, stressing unity over division and national pride at international gatherings.
Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang said security in the state has improved compared to last year, though challenges persist. “The security situation on the Plateau today is not yet Uhuru, but it is better than where we were last year,” he said, crediting President Bola Tinubu and security agencies for their support.
