Former Minister Chris Ngige has been remanded at Kuje Correctional Centre by order of the Federal Capital Territory High Court. This follows his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over alleged N2.2 billion corruption.
Justice Mariam Hassan scheduled the bail application hearing for Monday, December 15. Ngige faces an eight-count charge stemming from his time as Minister of Labour and Productivity under ex-President Muhammadu Buhari.
