The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd.), has been widely commended for visiting the family of Brigadier-General B. M. Uba, who was killed during a military operation in Wajiroko, Borno State.
Historian Edward John Auta Pama praised the Minister for personally consoling the grieving household and reaffirming the Federal Government’s support, calling the gesture a profound demonstration of empathy and national gratitude for the officer’s sacrifice.
Pama noted that Gen. Musa’s actions reflect his leadership qualities and commitment to people-centered service, which earned him recognition as Chief of Defence Staff.
