Dantata & Sawoe Construction Company Limited has settled a $1.4 million debt owed to Zutari Consulting Nigeria Ltd, its lawyer I.I. Okim confirmed. This action prevents the company’s liquidation, previously ordered by a Federal High Court over unpaid subcontract work.
Justice Mohammed Umar had appointed a liquidator due to Dantata & Sawoe’s repeated excuses regarding the debt from the Dangote Fertiliser Plant project. The company has now moved to vacate the liquidation order.
