Senator Iyiola Omisore criticized his disqualification from the APC Osun State governorship primary, calling the process “a complete farce.” He alleged that former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola unduly influenced the outcome to favor Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
The APC Screening Committee cited nomination document irregularities for disqualifying Omisore and six others. Omisore denied receiving formal notice of breaches, questioning the fairness and expressing confidence in a review by the National Working Committee.
