Nigerian Army troops under Operation UDO KA successfully rescued 14 kidnap victims from Orokam Forest, bordering Enugu and Benue states. The individuals were abducted while returning from a burial over the weekend.
The rescue operation on Friday involved troops and a vigilance group overpowering bandits. Victims, from Ezimo Agu and Orokam communities, were handed to Udenu Division police for profiling and family reunification.
