The Northern Youths Movement (NYM) has urged Dr. Zacch Adedeji, Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, to disregard allegations from House of Representatives member Ikenga Ugochinyere. The group claims Ugochinyere is politically motivated, creating fake platforms for personal gain.
NYM dismissed Ugochinyere’s claim of a civil society coalition collecting signatures for a vote of no confidence against Adedeji, stating such a group does not exist. The Movement expressed support for Adedeji’s performance in boosting non-oil revenue.
